Our Story

Risinger is a leader in providing innovative transportation solutions. We are a family-owned dry van carrier based in Morton, Illinois.  For 30 years we have dedicated ourselves to building successful, enduring partnerships with our customers, drivers, and partner carriers.

How it all began

With over 25 years of experience in the trucking industry, Dave Risinger purchased Wickert Delivery Service, a small Peoria, Illinois based company in 1978.



After operating this business for five years, Dave decided he wanted to take his company in a different direction and founded Risinger Bros Transfer Inc. in 1983. The new business, operated by Dave, his wife and his three children ran with a modest 25 trucks and focused it’s efforts on OTR transportation services. Within two years of it’s inception, Risinger grew from 25 to 100 trucks, an amazing feat for such a small operation. The philosophy of Risinger was simple. Move mountains to make your clients happy.



Today, with 300 power units and 750 trailers, Risinger still operates using this philosophy. It is this commitment to our clients that allows us to continue finding new horizons.
