Vehicle Maintenance Initiative
Compensation and Safety Initiative
This incentive is intended to raise CSA safety awareness and reward our hard working safe
drivers. It is also a way to get a nice bonus and effectively raise your rate of pay per
mile up to $.035/mile for all miles (depending on your 13-week average).
- o Single driving Owner Operators and leased purchase contractors will receive $.10/mile for every mile that
they exceed 26,000 manifest miles for the 13-week period. Meaning that for every mile over 2,000/wk
the contractor will receive $.10/mile as a bonus incentive.
- Example:
o Driver 1 averages 2,750 miles for the 13-week period and accumulates 35,750 miles.
o Bonus (35,750 – 26,000 = 9,750) 9,750 bonus eligible miles x $.10/mile = $975.00
- o Teams will be paid for all miles > 52,000 for the quarter at $.10/mile for the truck ($.05/mile for each driver).
Note: 60% of drivers qualified for the first campaign bonus incentive with the
average payout greater than $800! Thank you in advance for your cooperation
and participation!
Both the Vehicle Maintenance initiative and Safety Campaign program are subject to eligibility, log disqualifications, and CSA requirements.
- o Team awards and bonuses will be added to settlements paid on April 13.
- o Must be qualified and actively driving for Risinger on the pay date of the bonus – April 13.
- o Disqualified or terminated contractors do not accrue any bonus or team award.
- o During the 13-Week Period, contractors must meet Risinger log requirements.
Log disqualifiers are as follows:
- ·More than 6 log violations in one month reduces your payout to 50%.
- ·A second month with more than 6 log violations eliminates any payout.
- ·Being over 10 days behind in turning in logs in one month reduces payout to 50%.
- ·A second month being over 10 days behind in turning in logs eliminates any payout.
