Our Story

Risinger is a leader in providing innovative transportation solutions. We are a family-owned dry van carrier based in Morton, Illinois.  For 30 years we have dedicated ourselves to building successful, enduring partnerships with our customers, drivers, and partner carriers.

How it all began

With over 25 years of experience in the trucking industry, Dave Risinger purchased Wickert Delivery Service, a small Peoria, Illinois based company in 1978.



Within two years of its inception, Risinger grew from 25 to 100 trucks, an amazing feat for such a small operation.

Today we operate with 300 power units and 750 trailers allowing us to operate with all the technology of a big carrier, while striving to give personalized support to all of our owner operators.

From the beginning, Dave was committed to offering drivers trust, respect, honesty, and loyalty. Our commitment to these values are just as strong today as they were back then. Our company has changed over the years but our values have remained the same.
